Vampire Weekend - Oxford Comma
Vampire Weekend are very much a Sunday band. They don’t make the kind of music you could just leave on all day on repeat, rather the kind of music that makes you feel really good every now and then — especially Sundays. And this track from their self-title album is great. “Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma?” is the first line. Well, I give a fuck about fun music, catchy lyrics, and Oxford commas.
(Cubicle17 deserves a mention here, because I snubbed his original recommendation of them, only to find myself constantly coming back to them for another listen, and finally realising I actually really liked them.)
