First Mint Julep Made by Dr Z (certified mixologist), and consumed amongst the lovely company of Lucy and Russ— my fellow mint julep virgins. Perhaps the best part of the experience though was watching Horse Race TV as we sipped our beverages and became increasingly loopy, taking juvenile pleasure in the ridiculous race horse names and the incomprehensible Australian announcer.
